Beautiful collection of experiences What a strange time that was indeed. This is a beautiful (and at times heart breaking) collection of life experiences during a bizarre time in history, like a snapshot of life continuing amidst and in spite of lockdowns.

I'm always interested in others Finding this book was the perfect opportunity to take a peek into another culture. One of the things I found interesting were the references to things from the Judeo/Christian culture. I mentally understood that Islam acknowledged those things. Seeing how they were addressed was thought provoking.

Deeply Personal, Revealing This collection of journal entries from Muslim women reveals their private most struggles with the lockdown during Covid 19- intensely personal!

Compelling and heart-touching I really love the journal entries in this compelling book with its many points of view of a situation we all went through. I especially appreciate the pieces about George Floyd and the others who were murdered in that time frame. Throughout this fascinating perspective from a way of life I’m not very familiar with, the authors’ words are at times sad, at times uplifting, always riveting, always heart-touching.
