Submission Policy
Strange Incorporated Submission Policy for Muslim Women Authors:
Please carefully review our submission policy outlined below before submitting your manuscript.
1. Manuscript Format:
- We accept submissions in Word or PDF format.
2. Submission Method:
- All submissions must be made through our online application.
- In case of technical issues, contact us via email at submissions@strangeincorporated.org.
3. Response Time:
- Expect a response within 2-3 months of submission.
4. Submission Process:
- Authors will engage in a peer review process with other candidates.
- Selected works will be presented to the board of directors for final consideration.
5. Pathways:
- For manuscripts that are not fully developed, authors will collaborate with a developmental coach before proceeding to the regular publishing process (full edits, book design, ISBN allocation, copyright, and marketing).
- Fully developed manuscripts will undergo direct editing and move through the subsequent publishing stages.
6. Acceptance Criteria:
- We are actively seeking manuscripts from Muslim women authors in all genres, including fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and children’s books.
- Submissions will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Alignment with Our Values: We assess whether your work aligns with our mission and values.
- Marketability: We consider the potential for your work to appeal to a wider audience.
- Writing Quality: We review your writing for grammar, style, and engagement.
7. Acceptance and Contract:
- Prospective authors with accepted works will enter into a contract for a full publishing package, including detailed information on the entire process and associated pricing.
